Established in 1995, CLIEDIS is a not-for-profit association that supports the Canadian life and health insurance industry through the advancement of electronic data exchange, helping members achieve greater efficiencies in their operations and protecting compliance obligations.
CLIEDIS's mission is focused on the creation of "usable data" through the development and implementation of common insurance data standards and conventions for the capture and exchange of information electronically.
CLIEDIS promotes the advancement of electronic data exchange within the Canadian life and health insurance industry. CLIEDIS members strive to move towards standardized practices endorsed by CLIEDIS.
